Sleeping Bag
No one told me what i needed before i was homeless. Here i will suggest to you what you can use to survive! If you have a RV or Automobile that you are staying in its always good to have a crowbar under your seat. There might be that one time someone attempts to break into your home while you are in it. Number one thing is a Sleeping bag and i would suggest going to the local military surplus one and get yourself a Military Modular Sleep System 4 Piece with Goretex Bivy Cover and Carry Sack click on this to be redirected to Amazon to help me out! Or head over to the store as i have it listed also

Backpack
I have gone through a few backpacks myself. I suggest getting a 55L at the smallest. If i went back out onto the streets i would get me one of these. I know it will last a while and its huge! There is accessories that can be attached for more space. I will link more Back packs in the store.

Weapon
Make sure you are legal in carrying certain weapons on you. You can do this buy simply asking a police officer. They seem to be conveniently close to where homeless people are at usually. I personally like a hammer and if your sleeping in the urban jungle get a helmet for your protection or a dog. Make sure said dog is legal. Knives are useful as well as.

Foot Wear
Get ready to do a lot of walking so i suggest hiking shoes and or boots. If you are in the cold climate areas do not get steel toes boots because your toes will freeze!

Tarp
Get yourself a decent tarp they are compact and handy so you do not have to put your gear on dirt. These will not keep you warm on concrete in winter time. Get cardboard for that.
